LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in Arkansas say two more people are dead in a homicide and kidnapping case involving a distant relative of former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee.

Arkadelphia Police dispatcher Dusty Welch says that Donald Hux was killed Sunday night during a shootout with law enforcement officers after he shot and killed his ex-wife, Amy Huckabee.

Their deaths come after Amy Huckabee's husband, Sandy Huckabee, was found dead Sunday at the couple's home in Arkadelphia, which is about 70 miles southwest of Little Rock.

Authorities issued an arrest warrant for Hux on capital murder, kidnapping and other charges. Welch says the shootout took place in Union County in southern Arkansas.

Sandy Huckabee's father was the first cousin of former presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee's father.

I bet the devil has a nice worm bed for Mr.Hux. May GOD give the families piece/stringth and mind all of their hearts and bless the children left behind. Hope and pray someone takes them and lead them in the write diraction. ITs very tragic that someone would do such a terrable thing. My heart go's out to the children and the families.

If you do the crime you should do the time. No more early release. No more parole. I think it is shown that usually once and offender they are going to offend again. Better yet how about an eye for an eye!

He came straight to her house the day he got out of prison. What I would like to know is if the SOB was released from prison early by a parole board.

One less burden on the taxpayers. Good going law enforcement. If you need more ammo to use on people like this, just let me know and I'll make sure you have plenty.

What the He??. Please get off of this race kick and stick to the story. the newspaper reported that this creep had a extensive criminal history and was just released from prison a couple of months ago. This is what we should be talking about is why they continue to pollute our street with thise thugs (black, white, red or green). The police do their jobs (sometimes) to arrest them and the system seems to give the a slap on the wrist and a little vacation in the jail and turn them loose on us and the people at will. This is what we need to address I don't care what color they are get them off the street or at lease monitor them for the rest of their lives if that is what needs to be done.

If Mogreen's statement is true, then he got what he deserved. I'd rather see people like him shot and killed than on trial. And for you sparrowhawk60, crawl back under your "lets feel sorry for the black race" rock. If you havent noticed, every criminal gets treated the same on here regardless of race. Open your eyes. You are the one that is racist.I dont care if the person is black, white, hispanic, asian or whatever, if they kill someone, kill them. Treat them all like the animals they are. And you racist "lets stop picking on the black people" and "whitey is out to get us" people can just kiss my..............

Magnolia news source is reporting that this suspect was killed in a gun battle with police near El Dorado.

This is obviously a VERY dangerous man and I think he wouldn't care what race you are if you got in his way. Thank GOD he did let the children go. My prayers are with all the family. Hopefully she is still alive. Did he have a mental history OR is he just evil?

There are other words to use than race. Light skinned. brown [ light, medium or dark. The racism factor is so strong in this state and have seen it on this comment board enough. Guarantee if he was black it would have been loaded with racist remarks. Racist and bigoted remarks are the norm.
