NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – North Little Rock Police responded to a home invasion Monday morning where two people were shot.

According to police, just after 5:30am Monday at least two people forced their way into a home at 6605 Wind Hill and shot two victims in the home. The suspects left the scene in a Hummer.

Charlie Clinkscales was found in the driveway with a single head wound, a gash in his right palm, and red flesh wound on his back between his shoulder blades.

Fabian Deleon was found in the home. He had what appeared to be two bullet wounds - one in the upper left shoulder area and one near the lower back side. He also had blood and swelling on his face. Deleon was taken to UAMS for non-life threatening wounds. He would not cooperate with police according to police report.

"This is a home invasion. That's serious," said Bill Jennings, a neighbor.

Jennings lives across the street but slept through the commotion. He heard about it when he woke up.

"My next door neighbor woke up at 5 this morning. Didn't know what woke him up but apparently that's the time the shots rang out at that house," said Jennings.

Because the early morning ambush happened while many slept, information on suspects and clues are limited.

"Until we're able to find out who lives there and who doesn't and get that information, I'm not sure if anything was taken at this point," said Sgt. Brian Dedrick, spokesman for the North Little Rock Police Department.

Sergeant Brian Dedrick said some of the people in the house did see something, but no word yet on their accounts. Neighbors hope police solve this soon to weed out the crime in their subdivision and restore peace.

"I don't wish anything bad to happen to anybody but neighborhoods don't need that kind of problem," said Jennings.

now your taking things to a whole new level with your "I can and will throw blows crap! your the one who needs to grow up and act like a man. It would be kinda hard for me to do that since I AM A WOMEN... so chill out and keep your threats out of conversation where it doesn,t belong and you have no idea what any person would do if cornered in a home invasion situation i guess being in the milatary you have had some hairy situations i can respect that but I also have had a gun shoved in my back while being robbed in a store, so lighten up people will vent when their tired of beigh pushed around.

I don't know the answer. Last night at 10PM someone started using my doorbell like a telegraph key and I have to admit I put a round in the chamber, went out the back door, circled around behind the late night visitor with my weapon concealed and discovered a little old lady who was lost. 10 years ago I heard a crash in the middle of the night and low crawled into the living room with the full knowledge that I was going to have to kill another human being and thankfully when I snapped on the lights and assumed the firing position it was only a picture that had fallen off the wall. On one hand you don't want to shoot up all your pictures on the wall but if my neighbor hadn't been ready for a gun fight that erupted in his living room through his front door he and his wife would probably be pushing up daiseys right now. How do you know when you are being a Barney Fife hypervigilant nervous nelly versus taking reasonable steps to protect your family and your home? I had the opportunity to meet the SWAT team one day when my son in law decided to shoot balloons with a pellet gun on our duck pond and I was impressed with their level of expertise. I suspect they know how to handle an unannounced search and seizure operation so that innocents don't get hurt. I doubt they shoot any of their pictures on the wall at two AM in the morning. I'm just not so sure about my expertise.

I haven't got a paranoid bone in my body. I tell people on here all the time where to find me. I can and will throw blows. I just get sick of the big mouths sitting behind a key board that can't bust a grape. At 60 I can still rule out the wantabes and never were. I just git tired of people running there mouth and putting our rights in harms way. I fought hard for them. Grow up and act like you are a man. Not a thug or someone that wants to be one. Besides most people that shoot off their mouth are to scared to shoot anything else off.

Butch54: Don't b so paranoid, I think what most people r saying is that people will stand up for there saftey and aren't afraid to announce it. I don't care who knows that i will fight back if attacked, no brag just fact I have been attacked with no way to help myself i had no gun, now i do and i will never let it happen again.
