LITTLE ROCK, AR – FOX16 confirms that one person has been killed after a Central Arkansas Transit Authority bus accident.
According to reports, around 9:30 am Thursday morning, police were called to the intersection of Capital and Louisiana streets regarding an accident involving a bus and a pedestrian. Witnesses told police that the bus was traveling west on Capital street and tried to make a left turn onto Louisiana when it hit 58-year-old David Wright.
Police say Wright, an Entergy employee who was either on his way to or from a meeting, was transported to UAMS, where he died of his injuries. There is no information at this time on the driver of the bus.
