Urban scavenger hunt held for needy families

LITTLE ROCK, AR -- An urban scavenger hunt was held Sunday in downtown Little Rock to benefit needy families.

The event was called Rocktown Trackdown. People biked or walked through downtown with a map searching for historic landmarks, surprising some with what they found.

"The first human dissection was done in 1874 in Little Rock, and the monument is here in Macarthur Park," participant Bonnie Etchieson said.

Planners charged a five dollar fee, which goes to an important mission.

"Everything we received this morning will go towards the Ron King recycle bikes for kids program," planner Aly Signorelli said.

Organizers said the hunt was a good way to serve the community, while having a little fun at the same time.

"It was wonderful. The clues weren't too easy, weren't too hard," participant Adam Taylor said.
