NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - The Arkansas Department Of Veterans Affairs issued a caution today to veterans in an effort to prevent them paying for benefits assistance.

The department says there are veterans paying large sums of money for services.

But because of their military service, it should not cost them a dime.
To speak with a Veteran Service Officer, just visit 2200 Fort Root Drive, Building 96 in North Little Rock.

That's Monday through Fridays, from 8:00am to 3:45pm.

No appointments are needed.

One of the Doctors there told my friend and a review board a birth defect was caused by a car accident. It had been noted at birth and the navy took him with it. He got hurt on a ship and they refuse to help him because of an 80 year old doctor that shouldn't still be in practice. What I don't understand is why people would go there at all. Then someone ask me why don't you go to them. The proof is in the pudding. Just like pulling that stuff you pull up out of a spoon. I may not be smart enough to know what the left overs in it are but I'm smart enough to know what it isn't. Just like I'm smart enough to know what is not good medical practice. Mine is to critical for trust and hope. I need the proof.

Ive had to deal with the VA just a few times. Fortunately, I have my own insurance. That place, in my opinion, is ran by some true idiots.

Try Building 66. Take a book to read, you may be there awhile. And go with a positive attitude; if the same guy is at the window that I've had to deal with a few times; he's rude, curt, obnoxious, ignorant, and downright unfriendly. Oh, and no weapons; you'll have to go through one of them metal detectors and empty your pockets. This includes pocket knives.
