LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Humane Society of Pulaski County has a new tool is its animal rescue and adoption efforts. The organization unveiled HEART, the Humane Education Adoption Rescue Transport, as part of its “Walk for the Animals” at the Clinton Presidential Center. The new vehicle was provided by the Janice Ireland Trust.

Walk for the Animals is an annual celebration and fundraiser for the Pulaski Humane Society. Participants got t-shirts and an opportunity to take part in numerous fun activities. There was face painting, a pet costume contest, animal themed crafts, plus dog agility demonstrations and pet and owner look-a-like contests.

All proceeds go directly to the care of animals at the HSPC shelter.
