I had worked there for 18 month, and i say i'm glad not there anymore. Yes they hire americans, but none in supervisory roles, Indians only, employ locals ? some. Most from texas from the other indian pipe plant that went "belly up" !No safety program, they don't listen to the americans for improvement, just the Indian way.

AtomicPhart; watched the news last night; I got my answer, Asian Indians. After seeing the news report though, I have to disagree ( respectfully of course ) with it happening to a nicer group. They still employ locals, and I see they are building pipe for ( hopefully ) a pipline for energy. This pipeline will create many jobs for Americans, something the country is in dire need of right now.

My bad; I should have read the article first; didn't know it had been updated. I guess most will be back to work tomorrow. And I guess I was correct about the room containing the servers; but still, they should have had a back up in place for their servers, usually in a different location, even off site sometimes.

AtomicPhart; do you mean Indians as in India; or Native Americans? Native Americans have good reason to hate us; at one time, the Federal Government, the US Army, civilians, and even the so called Christians of that era - they tried to wipe them all out. Custer was a coward. He was a great officer during the Civil War, right out in front during a charge; but his tactics against the Native Americans were different; he waited until the men left camp on a hunting or war party, then attacked, killing women and children. I studied this extensively for a couple of Comp papers at PTC; I could go on; but I'll stick to topic from here on out. If it's Indians from Asia, then that's our politicians and the big business they are in bed with; allowing "outsiders" to buy up America, such as the Chinese deal for Hawker Beechcraft. BUT... they do employ local Arkansans, and if they aren't open for business on Monday, then our friends and neighbors that work there go without. The insurance isn't going to help them with the pay they lose for the days they will not be able to work. The important equipment could possibly be servers, which would be in the same room for most company's; but said servers should have a back up.

Yeah I would bet it is all covered by Insurance, so no need to whine. Whose I dea was it to locate ALL that important equipment in the SAME room, If they dont seperate it. It could happen again....

Could not have happened to a nicer group, this Welspun group. It's run by Indians who hate America. Psst, this is a non issue, they have insurance to cover loss of revenue, etc.
