LITTLE ROCK, AR-- Sunday at Pinnacle Mountain, about four dozen people joined in a kite flying contest. But they encountered problems because there wasn't much wind.

"I've gotten it probably 20 or 25 feet in the air and then the wind dies out and it comes crashing down on," said participant Sam baker.

At times, the wind did cooperate which reminded people to always value the small moments in life.

"It's a wonderful day with the family. I am just thankful to be here you know," said participant Ra Afrika.

The event was sponsored by Arkansas State Parks and participants got free waffles.

We were there and we had lots of fun especially my two year old son. And actually, there were lots of wind to fly the kite. I didn't see the reporter who wrote this story there, just the camera person. Had the actual reporter would've been there, story might have turned out differently. =)
