Early Tuesday morning, the Hot Springs Police Department responded to a shooting incident in the 100 block of Opera Street. Once there officers observed a black female laying in the parking lot with a gunshot wound to her midsection, the victim was transported by Lifenet to a local hospital.
Detectives are currently collecting evidence and attempting to locate witnesses.
