GARLAND COUNTY, AR - A woman previously arrested for
allegedly threatening her 14-year-old son with a knife was arrested again after allegedly attacking another victim at their home.
Police say 35-year-old Tamra Elizabeth Thacker, 35, was arrested at her residence, shortly after 7 p.m. on May 24, and was charged with third-degree domestic battery. As of Friday, Thacker was still being held without bond.
Thacker had been released on a $2,500 bond after her arrest Wednesday on a misdemeanor charge of aggravated assault on a family or household member for allegedly threatening her son with a knife after he told police he hid her pills from her. The victim told Garland County Sheriff’s deputies Thacker had overdosed on pills in March and was hospitalized.
The teen was placed with a family member by DHS, but later returned to the home after Thacker was released.
Thacker is set to appear June 5 in Garland County District Court on both charges.
