JACKSONVILLE, AR - Pulaski County deputies arrested a 21-year-old woman on accusations of choking her 3-week-old son after an argument with her mother-in-law.
The father of the child, Matthew Drager, told deputies that his wife, Courtney Drager, and mother had been arguing over how to care for the baby. He said that his wife was screaming at the infant to be quiet then started started choking the child.
Drager says he got his son away from his wife and gave the child to his mother who locked herself in a bedroom with the child.
The baby's injuries were not believed to be serious but paramedics examined the child and recommend that he be taken to the hospital for further examination after noting a red spots on his back, arm and wrists.
Courtney Drager was arrested on second degree domestic battery charges.
