BAXTER COUNTY, AR – Officials from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a woman on suspicion of selling prescription narcotics.

According to reports, 23-year-old Heather Joy Hodges was arrested on July 24 and charged with selling prescription narcotics.

In April, undercover investigators bought approximately 8mg of prescription hydromorphone pills for $80.00 from Hodges, who has been charged with delivery of a schedule I or schedule II controlled substance, conspiracy to sell prescription medications and unlawful use of a communication device, all of which are felonies.

Hodges was released from custody after posting $5,000 bond and will appear in circuit court on July 26.

The investigation is ongoing.

Finding a job is a given- but out of wrong things to do this seems the least - the point was - was she stupid for not selling her body instead of pills-

you would rather see her selling pills than shooting someone. Well, I guess I can see the point in that, but truthfully, pills can take a life as well. Id rather see her get a job than sell pills to tell you the truth.

to "its just me" its smarter to sell pills than risk disease and physical violence- not only that at least the drugs shes passing should be well made and not street crap- get a life- who knows why she did it - might just be down and out I dont know what meds that is but rather she her selling pills that shooting someone for their wallet--

Wait a minute, I thought all prescription drugs are schedule II drugs, to be a schedule I drug would mean it has no medicinal value according to the government. Just like our drug task forces, change the rules to make themselves look good.

My sympathy to your friend. Rebsamen did the same thing to me once. Concerning the chick selling pills gang; knew a lady here in Jax once that sold pills given to her from a friend. She gone now; but her daughter carries on the tradition. And they are worried about people smoking a little green.

My friends dad went in one night with chest pain. He'd only had two heart attacks and been treated at a hospital both times. Some nut sent him home with antacid telling him it was heart burn. He was found dead the next morning. Heart attack. I refuse to take that risk.

They been pretty good to me. I have a very good primary care provider, and the ladies in occupational therapy were pretty good to me the two extended times I had to go there. Now I did have private insurance when my chest was busted open for heart surgery; I don't think I'd care for them doing that to me; but for now, all my VA is free, so I'll take it. I am eligible for whatever it is you get with SS disability; Medicare? But I'll stick with the VA for now. Although I may switch to the other if I ever have to have my chest busted open again! Glad things are going better for you; read your long hair comment; I haven't had mine cut in a long time either; but the law doesn't bother me for some reason; perhaps the MM back patch, perhaps the PGR patch on the front; but I don't get hassled. itsjustme; this woman is a beauty queen compared to what walks 161 between Jax and the liquor stores! And no, I do not imbibe in them! Happily married!

Butch54, I know what you mean. "Our" government is to busy spending and giving "our" money to other countries and wasting it on unneeded wars. They could not give a crap about Americans.
