Woman dies in Clark County boating accident

CLARK COUNTY, AR - The Clark County Sheriff's Office is investigating a deadly boating accident on DeGray Lake.

Sheriff Jason Watson tells FOX16 News that a woman was boating with a group of friends around 4:45 Saturday afternoon near island number 38 when she jumped into the water and was hit by another boat that was part of their group.

The woman, identified as 31-year-old Rebecca Jean Ramos, died at the scene.

So far, no arrests have been made. Investigators are questioning everyone involved in the accident.
