NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – A North Little Rock woman now faces a murder charge, nearly 7 months after she told police she shot and killed her husband.

Cheryl Brewer turned herself in to police Monday afternoon.

Last October, the 37-year-old Brewer called 911, telling them she shot her husband at their home on the 12000 block of Highway 165, according to police. 30-year-old Charlie Brewer died at the house.

Brewer will be arraigned Tuesday morning. She is charged with 1st degree murder.

babyarm, they could have been investigating a self-defense claim and had no grounds to charge her until now. But ya, there should be more info on the story..
