Woman lying in highway struck, killed by car

About 20 years ago my husband drove up the road to get the paper at a small store and it was still dark, He came in and woke me and told me what he saw and no he didn't run over here but he was worried about stopping and being accused of something so I drove up there and there she lay on her back sucking on a baby pacifier, I kept saying are you ok and then a car with three young men pulled over and lifted her up I asked if she knew them and also told her she did not have to leave with them but she did. Never saw or heard about it again! Takes all kinds.

Do they even know if the woman was alive or not when she was hit? I can not even imagine someone doing that for fun, how stupid is that? I'll have my fun in other ways that are safe, thank you!

okay, if someone runs out in front your vehicle, I can understand them getting ran over but how can you not see someone laying in the road and then run them over? I wish there was a report from the driver of the vehicle..I know it's not the driver's fault but would still be interested to know more details..What has gotten into people lately, with all the laying in the road, fighting in the road, tanning in the road etc..That's just about as stupid as it gets!

Laying in the middle of the road is suppose to be fun? Guess Im a boring guy, cause you wont see me laying in a road for kicks. Stupid people do stupid things.

I think it is called planking. Look it up on YouTube, it is supposed to be fun, but some people dont think things through. Im not sure if this is the cause but it sounds like it.

what is this lying in the highway crap, this happen just last week somewhere in Florida, when 2 girls were lying in th highway and were struck and killed by cars..
