Woman stabbed in domestic disturbance

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police are investigating an early morning stabbing that happened at Pointe West Circle and Woodhill Drive.

Lt Terry Hastings with the Little Rock Police Department says it started as a domestic disturbance and ended with one woman stabbing another woman in the stomach.

The victim was taken to the hospital with what are described as critical injuries.

The names of the victim and the suspect are not yet available.

Hastings says the suspect fled toward Lewisville, AR, but is now in custody at the Hope police department. Little Rock police plan to transport the suspect back to Little Rock sometime later today.
