JEFFERSON COUNTY, AR – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a home invasion where a woman says two armed men entered her home, tied her face down to her bed, and robbed her.
The victim tells the sheriff’s office that she answered a knock at her home on 3218 Holiday Drive around 5pm Wednesday. A man wearing a USPS style uniform was at the door, claiming he had a package to deliver.
When the victim turned around to get a pen to sign for the package, the man at the door and another man, wearing a black mask, forced themselves into home.
According to the report, the suspects ordered her to lay face down on her bed so the could bound her to the bed with restraints. The two men then stole several valuables from her home.
After the suspects left, the victim was able to get free of the bed and escape to a neighbor’s house, where her restraints were cut off.
The first suspect, wearing something similar to a postal uniform, is described as 5’8” tall, slender in build, carrying a package and a clipboard. The second suspect is described as 6’1” tall, medium build, wearing a black mask, black shirt, and black pants.
