MAGNOLIA, Ark. (AP) — A Southern Arkansas University student from Oklahoma who is charged in the theft of horses from SAU rodeo team members has waived extradition back to Oklahoma where she faces additional charges.

Nineteen-year-old SAU rodeo team member Jaci Jackson of Broken Bow waived extradition to Idabel where she's charged with animal cruelty, bringing stolen property into the state and knowingly concealing stolen property.

She appeared in court late Monday without an attorney and spoke only to acknowledge that she is wanted in Oklahoma.

Jackson has pleaded not guilty in Columbia County to six felony theft counts in connection with the thefts of five horses, a trailer and riding equipment.

Four of the horses were found in McCurtain County — malnourished but alive. The fifth was found dead.

So you are telling me that she alone hooked up the trailer, loaded five (5) horses, and hauled and unloaded them by herself.Dur OK. Where are the other accomplices? It would take a lot to cut a horse into little pieces. I do not see this in the report on this page. Sucks to be horse around her and her friends. If you are already dead; how do you rot in hell? I am glad that others speak for what "God" will do. ARKANSAS! WPS! You are just par? No better no worse. Easy to judge. Innocent until proven guilty guess you guys forgot that. I love horses. My dogs love them for dinner.

I don't think our justice system is going to tie her up and let her starve. But it is good you could vent! In an Oklahoma paper it said she said this was because she was raped, then she said she lied about that. I didn't see that reported here.

The horse that was killed was shot, its throat cut, and then cut into pieces. The other horses were tied up and starving. This is according to prior news reports. Just SICK!!

Talk about self destruct. Sounds like little Miss thought she was entitled to special treatment and threw a tantrum when her sense of entitlement went unrecognized by the adult world. Don't think prison is going to be much of an improvement over University it terms of anyone seeing her as "more important", "more entitled" to anything other than an extra shift cleaning latrines.

Wher are the rest of those responsible? Any punishment they are given will not be enough, take it out on the people you are mad at not innocent animals.
