VAN BUREN, Ark. (AP) — Police say the body of a woman has been found in a football field parking lot in Van Buren.
Investigators told KHOG-TV they responded to a call of shots fired at 12:30 a.m. Sunday and found the woman in the parking lot of the Blakemore Football Field.
Fort Smith police arrested a person suspected in the crime and have booked him into the Crawford County jail.
Neither his name nor the victim's identity were immediately released
