LITTLE ROCK, AR -- The Little Rock Compassion Center doesn't turn any one away.

"We provide meals, we provide showers, and we also provide beds for people to stay in," said Senior Pastor William Holloway.

With the blazing heat, Holloway says caring for those in need is increasing.

"We are running 30 percent more than normal. We are probably up over 200, when usually we drop down to 120 to 125 people," said Holloway.

The AC is keeping up for now, but Holloway says there is a need for more volunteers. The need spans every age group.

"It's senior citizens. It's young people," says Holloway.
