Update: 20 Vehicles at I-630 Accident Scene Monday Morning

Update (8:55 a.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - It took two hours this morning to clear away the vehicles involved in a 20 car pileup on Interstate 630 near downtown.

The Arkansas State Police says the calls started coming in around 6 a.m. reporting accidents in the eastbound lanes near the S. Woodrow St. overpass.

Photos from the scene showed some of the vehicles had slid sideways.

Emergency crews were on the scene until after 8:30 to clear the roadway.

There's no word on how many people were injured or how many cars had to be towed away.

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Major delays on Interstate 630 East this morning. Several cars have been involved in an accident.

Right now, we know there are injuries. Emergency crews are on the scene right now.

You can expect delays for people from west Little Rock trying to get downtown.
