NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Ernesto G. Anaya Sr., 58, bonded out of jail this afternoon. A judge set his bond at $50,000 which he posted. Anaya's next court date is set for June 25.
Anaya faces charges of domestic battery and felony violation of an Order of Protection in the shooting of his wife Evangelina Anaya, 52.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - A local man has been arrested in the Wednesday morning shooting of his wife.
Police say Ernesto G. Anaya Sr., 58, was taken into custody around 12:15 this morning.
He faces charges of domestic battery and felony Violation of an Order of Protection in the shooting of Evangelina Anaya, 52.
North Little Rock Police say Mrs. Anaya remains hospitalized after having surgery for a gunshot wound to the upper chest.

NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR - Police are looking for a local man in the shooting of his wife.
It happened in their home on Cherry Hill Dr. around 3 this morning.
The suspect is identified as Ernesto G. Anaya, 58 (see photo). He is 5'7" tall and weighs about 180 pounds. He is considered armed and dangerous.
The victim is identified as Evangelina Anaya, 52, who police say suffered a gunshot wound to the upper chest. There's no word on her current condition. She was found by officers in an upstairs bedroom and taken to the hospital by ambulance.
The police report mentions a .38 caliber handgun that was believed to have been taken from the home.
A man and woman in their 20s were also at home when the shooting happened.
Mr. Anaya faces charges of domestic battery and felony Violation of an Order of Protection.
