Update (May 23, 10:45 a.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR - A Little Rock man arrested late Wednesday for the kidnapping, robbery and killing of a teenager, has been ordered held on one-million-dollars bond.
Darrell N. Dennis, 47, entered a not guilty plea this morning in Little Rock District Court.
According to arrest records for Dennis, he had been picked up on May 1st for absconding parole and was released a week later.Original report (May 22, 8:30 p.m.):
LITTLE ROCK, AR- A man has been arrested for the May 10th robbery and killing of a teenager.
Darrell Dennis, 47, has been charged with Capital Murder, two counts of Aggravated Robbery and two counts of Kidnapping.
Forrest Abrams was found shot to death in the street at 11th and Woodrow on the morning of May 10th.
According to detectives, Abrams and another man were approached by three other men at a convenience store on 12th and Woodrow.
According to the Little Rock Police Department, the three men jumped in the small red SUV with the two victims and drove to 4th and Woodrow where one of the victims got out and went inside a house.
The three suspects then drove off with Abrams still in the car.
Abrams was found lying dead in the roadway by police on 11th Street between Woodrow and Booker.
The investigation is continuing.
