VILONIA, AR - The Faulkner County Sheriff's Office called off the search for Sarah Swayze after finding her safe Sunday before midnight.
Chief Deputy Matt Rice says authorities went to the family home and started interviewing relatives around five o'clock Sunday evening
Investigators stayed at the home throughout the search and reportedly searched the entire house four to five times before she was found hiding in her bed hiding 11 o'clock.
Chief Deputy Rice says there is one door to the front of the house and there are several windows, but they are not sure how she could have gotten to any of them. Authorities are now turning their attention to figuring out how Sarah ended up back in her bed.
Hundreds of volunteers assisted in the large search along with Arkansas Game and Fish, Arkansas State Police, Vilonia Police Department, Faulkner County criminal investigators, Faulkner County Emergency Squad, Vilonia Fire Department, Liberty Fire Department and the Hilltop Fire Department. The Sheriff's office extended its gratitude to the public for spreading the word and helping in the search.

Authorities in Faulkner county are searching for a missing 10-year old girl Vilonia. Authorities say Sarah Swayze jumped out of her grandparents car at a stop sign near her home on Kara Lane before running into the woods. Deputies have been searching the woods and a state police helicopter is assisting with aerial searches.
Sarah has blonde hair blue eyes and is about 4'10''. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt, green pants and a pair of boots. Authorities say she is mentally disabled and has a speech impediment.
