MAUMELLE, AR -- A wild night for Maumelle police officers as a man leads them on a high-speed chase with a child in his truck.
Officers say the man in the truck was wanted on a warrant...but in the end...he managed to get away.
Police say during the chase they reached speeds up to 70 miles per hour in a 45 mile an hour zone.
And unfortunately, throughout the chase, two passengers went along for the wild ride....including an 11 year old child.
Captain Jim Hansard says a patrol officer spotted Dalton Fulmer in the McDonald's drive-thru on Highway 365, recognizing his blue Silverado from a previous stop.
But when the officer tried to pull him over, he says Fulmer sped away.
A high definition dash camera rolled on the chase the whole time which ended just as dramatically as it started outside Fulmer's home.
Officers say he jumped from the truck window and ran away fast.
Captain Hansard said, "He did get away."
But detectives say when he's caught there's a pile of charges he faces including reckless driving, running a red light and endangering the welfare of a minor.
If you see Dulton Fulmer or know where he may be, call (501)851-1337.
The chase only lasted a few minutes.
Police say if they felt it would've become a danger to the public, they would've stopped the pursuit, but at the time there was very little traffic on the roads.
