LITTLE ROCK, AR -- Employees from Verizon in Little Rock assembled bikes for the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas today.
To add a little fun, teams raced to see who could put the most bicycles together the fastest.
Then they pedaled around the call center to make sure each bike worked properly.
Director of Customer Service Karen Cayea says the event was about more than just putting together bikes.
"The intent of the bike was for them to work together and for us to be able to give them to the Boys and Girls Club of Central Arkansas," Cayea said.
This is part of the annual "Tools for Schools" campaign in which Verizon also collects school supplies for local organizations.
