They complained about the type of care they're getting.
"Your business is only as good as the people working for you."
Officials with the Central Arkansas Veteran's Health Care System listened to concerns and took questions.
Some veterans expressed concern about corruption within the system, disrespect received during their care and concern about mental health care resources.
Officials say they are taking all of the criticisms to heart.
"Those youth are troubled. We need to look at why they got there in the first place and eventually these youth are going to be coming out into the community and interacting with us and our children. As a state we need to do a better job ensuring that they're safe, that they're treated well & that they're treated with respect," says Tom Masseau.
The Department of Human Services says it is aware of the allegations and will work the Disability Rights Center to address them.
