Greensboro, NC (Sports Network) - Georgia Tech will play in the ACC Championship Game in two weeks against Florida State.

The Yellow Jackets were awarded the Coastal Division title in the wake of Miami-Florida's decision to remove itself from postseason consideration. The Hurricanes would have tied for the division title with a win this coming Saturday at Duke, but school officials decided to impose a postseason ban for a second straight year as an NCAA inquiry into compliance practices continues.

North Carolina could also earn a tie for the division crown with a win against Maryland, but the Tar Heels are also ineligible for postseason play.

Florida State won the Atlantic Division crown and sits 10-1 overall this season heading into its annual showdown with Florida this Saturday. The Seminoles will then make the trip to Charlotte for a matchup with Georgia Tech on Dec. 1 with a likely Orange Bowl berth on the line.

Georgia Tech is 6-5 overall and will conclude its regular season this Saturday against arch-rival Georgia.

Florida State and Georgia Tech will play in the ACC title game for the first time. The schools last met in 2009, with Georgia Tech claiming a 49-44 win in Tallahassee.
