A-State, UALR Need Fan Votes in NCAA Contest

LITTLE ROCK, AR - Two Arkansas schools have made the Sweet Sixteen in an NCAA fan contest.

A-State and UALR are in the running to win the top prize of $100,000 for their schools, but they need help from their fans to get into the next three rounds for a shot at the top prize.

It's all part of the 6th Fan Contest that encourages fans of the schools to show their pride by voting for their favorite.

Right now, the contenders are paired off with other schools and need to win the majority of the votes to advance to the Elite 8, Final Four and Championship rounds.

Voting in the Sweet Sixteen round ends on Feb. 23 at 10:59:59 p.m., Central Time.

Click here to vote for A-State or UALR (look for the team logos). There are also individual prizes up for grabs for fans who vote.

The schools have already won $10,000 for making it into the Sweet Sixteen.
