MONTICELLO, AR - Following a 5-1 start to the 2014 season, the University of Arkansas at Monticello baseball team has been ranked No. 15 and No. 21 in this week’s College Baseball Lineup and national polls.

Of UAM’s five wins so far, three have come against nationally ranked opposition. UAM defeated then-ranked No. 15 St. Mary’s 16-5 in seven innings and defeated then-ranked No. 19 Central Missouri 4-2, both wins coming at Minute Maid Park before winning the second half of a home double-header against top-ranked Minnesota State-Mankato 8-5 this past Sunday. Mankato handed UAM its only loss of the season so far with a 4-3 decision in the first half of that double-header, which was UAM’s home opener.
