Wilk's contract sold by Tigers to Korea

Detroit, MI (Sports Network) - The Detroit Tigers released left-handed pitcher Adam Wilk after his contract was sold by the team to a squad in the Korean Baseball League.

The 25-year-old Wilk went 0-3 with an 8.18 ERA over three starts with the Tigers this season.

Overall, he finished 0-3 with a 6.66 ERA during his two-year stint with Detroit.

In addition, the club outrighted the contract of left-handed pitcher Matt Hoffman to Triple-A Toledo.
