Boston, MA (SportsNetwork.com) - Boston outfielder Shane Victorino is in the starting lineup for Wednesday's Game 6 of the World Series, where the Red Sox will be attempting to finish off the St. Louis Cardinals and capture their third championship in the last 10 seasons.

Victorino had sat out the last two games of this Fall Classic due to tightness in his lower back. The veteran switch-hitter has also been dealing with recurring hamstring soreness that has forced him to bat exclusively from the right side during the entire postseason.

Red Sox manager John Farrell has inserted Victorino back in right field for Wednesday's matchup, but dropped him to sixth in the batting order. Victorino, Boston's primary No. 2 hitter over the course of this season, went hitless in 10 at-bats over the first three World Series games.

Dustin Pedroia will remain in the No. 2 hole after hitting there in each of the last two contests, both of which the Red Sox won, with the red-hot David Ortiz again batting third and Mike Napoli inserted into the cleanup spot.

Napoli did not start any of the three World Series tilts held in St. Louis due to the elimination of the designated hitter, but will be back at first base for Wednesday's clash. Ortiz, who is batting a scorching .733 (11-for-15) for the series, will return to the DH role after being used at first in the National League park.
