Raptors' Johnson suspended for throwing mouthpiece

New York, NY (Sports Network) - Toronto Raptors forward Amir Johnson was suspended one game without pay for throwing his mouthpiece and hitting an official during Monday's game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

The incident occured with 5:01 remaining in the third quarter of the Raptors' 92-74 loss.

Johnson will serve his punishment on Wednesday when Toronto hosts the Brooklyn Nets.
