Florham Park, NJ (Sports Network) - The New York Jets have named Rod Graves senior director of football administration.

Graves spent 17 years with the Arizona Cardinals organization and served as the team's general manager for the last six seasons until being let go following a 5-11 campaign in 2012.

Prior to being named general manager in 2007, Graves served as vice president of football operations with the Cardinals for four seasons. He signed on with the team as an assistant to the president in 1997.

New York made several other hires to their administration on Monday, naming Matt Bazirgan the assistant director of pro personnel as well as assigning former defensive back Aaron Glenn to a scouting position.

Glenn was drafted by the Jets in 1994 and spent eight of his 15 seasons with the team.
