Oilers' Hall banned two games

New York, NY (Sports Network) - The National Hockey League issued a two-game suspension to Edmonton Oilers forward Taylor Hall for kneeing Minnesota's Cal Clutterbuck in Thursday's 3-1 loss to the Wild.

Clutterbuck suffered a thigh contusion as a result of the collision, which occurred at the 17:27 mark of the third period. Hall was assessed a major penalty and a game misconduct.

Hall, the 2010 No. 1 overall pick, will forfeit $9,729.72 in salary.
