Pleneuf, France (Sports Network) - Andrea Pavin tripped to a 2-over 72 on Sunday, but was still able to cruise to a 4-stroke win at the Open Blue Green Cotes d'Armor Bretagne.
Pavan, who earned his fourth career victory on the European Challenge Tour and second this year, finished his wire-to-wire win at 11-under-par 269.
Rhys Davies (66) and Robert Dinwiddie (67) shared second at 7-under, while Matt Haines (66), Adrien Saddier (69), Sam Hutsby (70) and Alan Dunbar (72) tied for fourth at 5-under 275.
Pavan entered the final round with a 6-stroke lead, but gave three of those shots back over his first three holes as he opened with a double bogey at the first that he followed with a bogey at the third.
The Italian, however, was able to steady himself with back-to-back birdies at the fourth and fifth, and later added another gain at the 11th to again reach 13-under.
Two straight bogeys from the 12th dropped him back to 11-under, but he was still able to cruise to the win as he parred his final five holes.
