Razorbacks Headed to Omaha!

Fayetteville, AR - Arkansas rode an offensive explosion to punch their ticket to the College World Series.  Arkansas defeated South Carolina 14-4 in the Fayetteville Super Regional Monday night.

Carson Shaddy got the offense going with a three run home run in the first inning to give Arkansas a 5-0 lead.  The Diamond Hogs added five more runs in the fifth inning to take a 13-2 lead.

Eric Cole went 3-3, scored five runs and knocked in two.  Luke Bonfield was 3-4 at the plate and had 4 rbi.

This is the fifth time Dave Van Horn has taken Arkansas to the College World Series.  Arkansas has advanced to Omaha in 2004, 2009, 2012, 2015, and 2018  during Van Horn's tenure.

Arkansas will play Texas in the frist round Sunday, June 17th.
