FAYETTEVILLE, AR – The Razorback Foundation is excited to announce the H.O.G.S. (Helping Others Get Started) Program, a new member referral program designed to increase the level of support for Razorback Athletics and broaden the Foundation’s membership base throughout the state, country and around the world.
The goals of the program are simple, 1.) to increase the number of Razorback Foundation members, and 2.) to reward existing members who “recruit” their friends, family and other Razorback fans to join the Razorback Foundation.
“Continuing to grow the Razorback Foundation is vital to our future,” says Razorback Foundation Executive Director Sean Rochelle. “Within the Razorback Foundation members, there are thousands of great ambassadors for Razorback Athletics who can take an active role in helping us raise the support to equip our student-athletes with the resources they need to excel on and off the field.”
The H.O.G.S. program empowers current Razorback Foundation members to recruit new members to the Foundation, at any membership level, and receive rewards for their efforts. The H.O.G.S. program will run through June 30, 2014.
In order to be eligible for the H.OG.S. program, the new member must provide the current member's name (as it appears on the account) and ID number at the time of their gift. This information must be submitted either online, on the donor gift form, 2014 Letter of Intent or provided to a representative if joining over the phone.
Throughout the program, those who have referred new members will be eligible for special prize drawings. For every new member that joins the Razorback Foundation based on a documented referral, the current member receives one entry into random prize drawings. A new member is defined as someone who did not made an annual fund gift to the Razorback Foundation in 2013 or joins for the first time.
There are also grand prizes for the top member that refers the most new members and the member that generates the greatest dollar value in new gifts. Grand Prize incentives will be rewarded based on the number of referrals submitted by June 30, 2014.
