FAYETTEVILLE, AR – University of Arkansas men’s basketball head coach Mike Anderson announced on Tuesday that sophomore guard DeQuavious Wagner will transfer at the end of the semester. Wagner played in 28 games over his two seasons as a Razorback.
“Dee has been the model student-athlete over his two years with our program,” said Anderson. “We wish him the best of luck in his future on the court and in life. He’ll always be a member of our Razorback family.”
“I can’t thank coach Anderson, the entire coaching staff, my teammates and Razorback fans enough for all the support over the last two years,” Wagner said. “Things didn’t work out the way I had planned, but I’ve enjoyed my two years at Arkansas and am grateful for the opportunity.”
The team brings a seven-game winning streak to Central Arkansas.
