PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) — Tim Clark rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns, and Alabama State spoiled Arkansas-Pine Bluff's homecoming game with a 28-12 win Saturday.

Devin Dominguez added 254 passing yards and a 51-yard touchdown pass to Nehemiah Henry for the Hornets (7-2, 7-1), who stayed in first place in the Southwestern Athletic Conference's East division.

Clark opened the scoring with a 2-yard score on the game's first drive. He added scoring runs of 7 and 71 yards in the third quarter as Alabama State built a 28-3 lead.

Justin Billings had a 40-yard touchdown run for the Golden Lions (4-5, 3-4), and Chris Ewald kicked two field goals. Benjamin Anderson was 31 for 48 for 274 yards but was intercepted twice, by Markinley Saint Fort and Saeed Lee.

The interception to Saint Fort was a costly one, ending a 15-play, 70-yard drive at the ASU 6-yard line late in the first half.
