Arkansas' Gragg on the Mackey Award watch list

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — An Arkansas tight end has been added to the watch list for the Mackey Award, which is given to the most outstanding collegiate tight end.

Officials said Tuesday, Chris Gragg is among those being considered for the honor.

Gragg caught a single-season career-high 41 passes for a career-high 518 yards for Arkansas last season. In his career, Gragg has caught 50 passes for 714 yards and four touchdowns.

The winner of the award is selected by vote of the John Mackey Award Selection Committee.

Semifinalists will be announced on Nov. 12 and finalists will be announced a week later.

The winner will be honored Dec. 6 at The Home Depot College Football Awards Red Carpet Show on ESPNU.
