DENTON, Texas (AP) — The University of Arkansas-Little Rock got 19 points each from Will Neighbour and D'Andre Williams and held off North Texas 69-66 to win its Sun Belt Conference opener.
UALR snapped a four-game losing streak with Thursday night's win in Denton, Texas, and improves to 4-10 overall and 1-0 in SBC play. North Texas falls to 7-7 and 0-1 in the conference.
The win is the first road win of the season for UALR.
