PINE BLUFF, Ark. (AP) — The University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff has hired a new women's soccer coach.

Director of Athletics Lonza Hardy Jr. said Rohan Naraine will take over the post.

Naraine spent the past two seasons as head women's soccer coach at St. Andrews College. He also coached at Coastal Carolina University, where he captured two Big South Conference championships and was named the 2007 Big South Coach of the Year.

Naraine began his career at Coker College, where he led the program for four seasons before being named head women's soccer coach at Southern University.

In college, Naraine attended North Carolina Wesleyan College, where he was a stand-out athlete and led the Battling Bishops to the NCAA Division III National Tournament in 1984.
