JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) — The former defensive coordinator at Memphis has been picked to be the defensive line coach at Arkansas State.
Football coach Gus Malzahn announced Sunday that Arkansas State alumnus Kenny Ingram will take over the position for the Red Wolves.
Ingram was an assistant coach at Memphis from 2006 to 2009, and became defensive coordinator in 2009. During his tenure, Memphis went to the 2007 New Orleans Bowl and the 2008 St. Petersburg Bowl.
Before Memphis, Ingram spent the 2005 season as defensive line coach at Tennessee State, and coached at Melrose High School from 2002 to 2004.
