JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas State will get the weekend off and return to the field for a home game against Florida International on Tuesday.

The Red Wolves moved to 4-2 after a 24-19 victory over Louisiana-Monroe last Saturday.

Arkansas State trailed 13-10 at the half, but took the lead for good when Don Jones blocked a punt and returned it 25 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter. A 44-yard touchdown pass from Ryan Aplin to Dwayne Frampton extended the Red Wolves' lead to 24-13 with 13:51 left in the game.

Louisiana-Monroe scored with 2:53 to play, but it wasn't enough.

Florida International (4-2) also won last week, snapping a two-game skid with a 27-17 victory over Akron.

The game is scheduled to be televised on ESPN2.
