Arkansas’ Wade suspended for one game

Upon review of game tapes of the football game between the University of Arkansas and Vanderbilt University, played in Nashville, Tenn. on Saturday, Oct. 29, 2011, Southeastern Conference Commissioner Mike Slive has announced that Arkansas freshman Marquel Wade has been suspended for the Razorbacks’ next football game.

Very appropriate and hope he will learn from it, one must realize it is a game and only a game that is really not that important in the scope of things.

Agreed, Tyler Wilson gets pummeled every game with helmets, after the throw,etc. The announcers just talk about how good the opposing team defense is.

Suspended for an honest mistake, nice. Wade thought the guy caught the ball. When I was watching it, I thought he had the ball too. It's football, if they suspend every player for a bad hit then...just wtf? They made a big deal out of something that happens in just about every football game, bad hits. I didn't hear anyone calling to eject and suspend the guy who almost twisted Joe Adam's(I think that's who it happened to) head off while grabbing his face mask...That Vanderbilt coach is a cry baby...EFF Vanderbilt

Hopefully this will help him mature and he can pick himself up and return stronger, more aware and ready to Play Ball
