FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas junior center Travis Swanson has been named to the Rimington Trophy Watch List.

Swanson started all 26 games of his career and blocked for consecutive seasons with a 3,000-yard passer, including the first season in school history with a 3,000-yard passer and a 1,000-yard rusher in 2010.

Swanson is on the Rimington Trophy Watch List for the second consecutive season. He was on the Rimington Trophy Spring Watch List in 2011 and 2012.

The Rimington Trophy is given to the top NCAA Division I center. It's awarded by determining the consensus All-American from the American Football Coaches Association, Walter Camp Foundation, The Sporting News and Football Writers Association of America All-American teams.

The winner will be honored in Lincoln, Neb., on Jan. 12, 2013.
