FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas has its core group of four freshmen to thank for much of its success so far this season.

The Razorbacks (16-7, 4-4 Southeastern Conference) have yet to lose in Bud Walton Arena and have three wins over ranked teams — a big change for a team that hasn't reached the NCAA tournament in four years.

They travel to Georgia (10-12, 1-7) on Wednesday and will do so with a freshmen group that's averaging nearly 32 points, 15.2 rebounds and 3.4 steals per game.

The group (BJ Young, Hunter Mickelson, Devonta Abron and Ky Madden) was signed by coach John Pelphrey before he was fired last March. Anderson worked to keep the class intact after his hiring from Missouri, and his effort has paid off so far.
