FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — The Arkansas men's basketball team will take on professional teams during a tour of Italy this summer.
Officials said Thursday the Razorbacks will leave Aug. 10 for Milan and return home on Aug. 19. The team is tentatively scheduled to spend two days in Milan and then travel to Florence, Rome, Pisa and Vatican City.
The team will play at least three games against professional teams during that time.
Athletic Director Jeff Long says the preseason tour will provide an excellent opportunity for the continued development of the team, as well as offer additional practice time, competition and team-building opportunities.
Arkansas returns eight players from last season's team that went 18-14.
