FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) — Arkansas coach Dave Van Horn has picked four players as captains for the coming baseball season.

Van Horn on Tuesday named three juniors and a senior to the leadership spots.

Junior pitchers Barrett Astin and Colby Suggs, junior catcher Jake Wise and senior outfielder Matt Vinson are the team's leaders for the 2013 season.

Arkansas' opener is Feb. 15 versus Western Illinois at Baum Stadium.

Astin had 32 appearances last season and had a team-leading 11 saves and a 1.99 ERA. Suggs made 30 relief appearances and was 7-1 with a 1.38 ERA.

Wise had two homers and 25 RBI on the year. Vinson had four hits and three RBI in the College World Series last year.
